3 Questions To Help You Find Clarity In Your Business

In 2014, I hit a massive wall in my network marketing business. I was in a major funk and badly needed some clarity. I needed to get right with my soul again. 
 
I did what creatives do, I grabbed my spiral notebook, colored pens, glass of wine and answered three, simple and empowering questions, to help me dig deep and find my greater cause. I had a strong desire to create a ripple effect in the world. But how? I knew I needed some good old fashioned clarity + perspective. 

1. What is your purpose to the world?

I am not a fan of labels but I see a really strong connection with how they can describe our identity, when chosen thoughtfully and carefully. I am a mom first and foremost who needs fulfillment in serving women + moms who have a strong desire to succeed. That is my need, my cause.

2. What is the "WHY" of your work?

Why are you really, truly doing what you’re doing? (As we know, it rarely comes down to making bank.) Think about freedom, service, abundance, love, travel, connection, relationships. What are you most passionate about? How can your passion change the world? {YES, change the world...you are a talented beautiful force to be reckoned with....the world NEEDS you}

Having REAL passion for what you do will keep you motivated, especially when times get tough. If you really love what you do, you’re less likely to hit burn out and throw in the towel.

3. What are your core values?

Core values are the guiding principles that dictate behavior and action. Core values can help people know what is right from wrong; they can help companies determine if they are on the right path and fulfilling their business goals; and they create an unwavering and unchanging guide.  

Your unique value is the real secret to your success in life. It is what you alone have to offer the world that solves a specific problem. Its your mission statement, your core beliefs that you will not waiver on. 

Some examples of core values: genuine, belief, ambition, freedom, honesty, authenticity, compassion, ..dedicated, confidence, ethical, generous...just to name a few.
